On April 25, 2015, the country of Nepal was struck by a massive earthquake registering 7.9 on the Richter scale. The devastation and loss is unfathomable and communities are struggling to cope.

Some of our CHARITY BY DESIGN partners have responded and are taking action to assist the people of Nepal:
American Red Cross – Through our relationship with the American Red Cross, we have established a personalized donation page. By donating, you enable the American Red Cross Disaster Relief to prepare for, respond to, and help people affected by disasters, such as the earthquake victims in Nepal.
Plan International USA – Since 1978, our partner, Plan International, has been working in Nepal to improve disaster preparation measures in the earthquake-prone country. A special Plan emergency team has arrived in Nepal from India to begin relief work, such as clearing rubble to find trapped people, collaborating with local authorities to provide food, water, and shelter, and helping children who may need protection as they are experts. Plan also has staff collecting and organizing emergency materials to distribute, such as tents and blankets. You can help Plan by donating to their Earthquake Victims in Nepal fund.
